The CTSA has a number of training programmes available for potential teachers at both Primary and Secondary levels suitable for both Catholic and non-Catholic applicants. Students will be based in one of our partner schools most conveniently placed. Our partner schools can be found throughout Hampshire as well as schools in Surrey, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
At our main centre at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Aldershot we offer valuable and comprehensive Childcare facilities including Nursery and Pre-School aged from 3 months to 4 years. More details can be found here:-
The Primary courses are General so not specific to particular Key Stages and there are Secondary level courses in Mathematics, Physics and Religious Education.
When you choose a programme with the CTSA you have the opportunity to work with a number of schools within the area, we provide host school training for both Primary and Secondary teacher trainers. Below are the main areas we offer training.

Primary (General)
PCP Primary General Fees (Bursary available up to £3,000 for a 1st only)
PCP Primary General Salaried (Salary minimum £14,000 per annum)
Please note that our Salaried Route is only available to those applicants that have the sponsorship of a school willing to pay for their training.
Secondary
EQ Sec RE Tuition fee (Bursary available up to £9,000 1st, £4,000 2:1)
EQ Sec Physics Tuition Fees (Bursary available up to £30,000 1st, £25,000 2:1, £25,000 2:2)
EQ Sec Maths Tuition Fees (Bursary available up to £25,000 1st, £25,000 2:1, £25,000 2:2)
The CTSA courses are provided by e-Qualitas and Primary Catholic Partnership (PCP) and include both salaried and fee paying options.
The CTSA UCAS provider number is 1N4. Details of the courses available and their UCAS programme reference numbers are shown within the links below and will be open for applicants when the UCAS window opens in the Autumn term.
